At Learning and Sharing Child Development Center in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, we understand what families want most: a safe, loving environment where children are truly known and cared for. That’s why we provide exceptional childcare for children from infants to school-age, all in one convenient location designed with families in mind.
Our experienced team is dedicated to helping your child thrive at every stage. In our infant program, babies are cared for by consistent, loving caregivers who focus on comfort, routine, and developmental support. As your child grows, they’ll transition into our toddler program, where age-appropriate learning and play spark confidence, independence, and curiosity.
For older children, we offer after-school programs and exciting summer camps that blend learning and fun through enriching activities, homework support, and plenty of time to connect with friends.
Located in the heart of New Cumberland, our center makes it easy for busy families to access trusted, high-quality care. Join our childcare community and experience the peace of mind that comes from knowing your child is in a place where they can grow, learn, and shine with confidence.
Meet Our Director
My name is Rebecca Rohr, and I’m the director at Learning and Sharing Child Development Center. I hold a bachelor’s degree in early education and a PreK–4 teaching certificate from Shippensburg University. I began teaching here in 2015 and became director in 2019. My passion for early childhood education grew from learning about the critical brain development that occurs from birth to age 5. I quickly recognized how powerful age-appropriate, research-based instruction can be and feel fortunate to work alongside educators who share that vision. I’m an active member of NAEYC and PACCA and make it a monthly goal to read something new in the field to stay inspired and informed.
I grew up in Derry Township and now live in the area with my husband and our three daughters—Eleanor and twins Grace and Sadie. As a working mom, I understand how meaningful it is to have trusted caregivers who see and support your child. I love building relationships with families, sharing funny stories or small milestones from the day, and being part of each child’s journey. In my free time, I volunteer with my daughter’s Girl Scout troop, tackle puzzles, and enjoy time with my parents—even if they clearly prefer their grandkids. I look forward to welcoming you to Learning and Sharing and helping you decide if our center is the right fit for your family.
